What should I confirm before driving home?

Confirm the installed product, its initial restrictions and any scheduled follow-up. System X’s general aftercare says to avoid washing for the first two weeks; follow the instructions supplied for your installation.

Ask about the first place you will park, whether weather affects collection plans and what to do if the vehicle gets dirty before its first permitted wash. It is easier to discuss those situations at pickup than to guess afterward.

What should my regular wash routine include?

Once washing is permitted, use a gentle routine with suitable soap and clean wash materials. System X advises pH-neutral soap, shade and complete drying, and cautions against brush washes.

Build a kit you can keep clean and use consistently. Keep wheel-cleaning materials separate from paint materials. Leave enough time to inspect the vehicle rather than rushing through the lower, dirtier areas with the same towel used everywhere else.

What should I do about a spot, bug or bird dropping?

Address contamination promptly using the supplied care instructions. If you are unsure how to remove a mark, send us a photo before scrubbing it. Water repellency does not mean every deposit will slide away harmlessly.

Tell us when you noticed the mark, whether the surface was hot and which products have touched it. An overall photo and a close-up under useful light help us understand the concern. Avoid experimenting with abrasives while waiting for advice.

Does weaker water beading mean the coating failed?

Not necessarily. A change in water behavior deserves assessment alongside the surface condition and wash history. Beading by itself does not establish how much coating remains or identify the cause of a problem.

Keep notes on your usual wash and any new products. Contact us with the observations instead of applying several products at once. That gives us a clearer starting point when discussing cleaning, inspection or another appropriate next step.

What records should I keep for long-term care?

Keep the invoice, product and warranty documents, pickup instructions and any inspection reminders. Ask us which ongoing requirements apply to the exact package you selected.

Let us know if a body shop repairs a panel, if film is replaced or if another detailer plans to machine-polish the vehicle. Those changes can affect the surfaces we originally treated. Review the affected areas before assuming the original care plan still describes the whole vehicle.
