Coverage and film chosen for your drive.

Two front windows

Match the look of factory rear privacy glass and add heat and UV protection to the front cabin. Factory privacy glass alone does not perform the same way as ceramic film.

Full vehicle

Cover the side and rear windows with Global ceramic film for a consistent finish, reduced glare and a more comfortable interior. We help select a shade for visibility and your preferences.

Windshield, sunroof and strip

Light ceramic windshield film, sunroof film and a windshield sun strip are available by vehicle. We’ll review the glass, desired appearance and applicable tint rules before installation.

How ceramic film works

Ceramic film can reject heat without requiring a very dark shade. Shade darkness, measured by visible light transmission, is different from heat rejection. Ask us to compare available Global film options for your vehicle instead of choosing by darkness alone.

Film options

Find the right balance of comfort and appearance.

We install Global window films, including high-performance and ceramic options. Ceramic film is a popular choice when heat rejection matters, especially on a windshield or family vehicle. Tell us what you drive, what glass you want covered and whether your priority is heat, privacy, glare or a factory-style match.

Heat rejection

Film performance depends on the specific product and shade. A lighter ceramic film may improve comfort while keeping a brighter view out.

UV and interior care

Window film helps reduce UV exposure to occupants and interior materials. We can discuss options for the full cabin, not just the front doors.

Computer-cut installation

We use vehicle-specific patterns and a plotter where suitable, then prepare the glass, install the film and inspect the finished edges.

What does the percentage mean?

VLT means visible light transmission: the approximate percentage of visible light that passes through the film. A lower number looks darker. Choose a shade to compare the idea, then we’ll show you actual film samples at the shop.

Old tint coming off?

Yes, we remove window tint.

We can remove peeling, bubbling, purple or poorly installed film before applying new tint. We inspect the glass first and use a removal method suited to the existing film and window. Rear defroster lines and old adhesive may require extra care, so removal is quoted by vehicle and condition.

Questions answered

Window Tinting FAQs

Is ceramic tint better than regular tint?

Ceramic tint is designed to reject more heat without relying on a dark shade or metallic layer, making it a strong choice for comfort, clarity and modern vehicle electronics.

Does ceramic tint protect the interior?

It blocks ultraviolet energy that contributes to fading and deterioration of dashboards, leather, plastics and other interior materials.

Can you match my factory rear windows?

Yes. We can recommend a front-window shade that visually coordinates with factory privacy glass while adding ceramic heat and UV protection.

Do you tint windshields?

Yes. Clear or lightly shaded ceramic windshield film can reduce heat and glare while maintaining excellent visibility, subject to applicable Missouri law.

Does darker tint always reject more heat?

No. Visible light transmission describes how light or dark the film looks. Heat rejection also depends on film construction, so a lighter ceramic film can be a good choice when you want comfort with more visible light.

Do you tint sunroofs or add windshield sun strips?

Yes. We offer ceramic film for many sunroofs and windshield applications as well as eyebrow or sun-strip options, subject to the vehicle and applicable rules.

Does factory privacy glass replace ceramic tint?

Factory privacy glass darkens the glass, but its heat-rejection performance varies. Ceramic film can be added to compatible rear glass for additional comfort; we can also match the front windows visually.

Do you remove old or bubbling window tint?

Yes. We remove old, bubbling, peeling or discolored automotive film and can install new tint afterward. Removal pricing depends on the windows, adhesive, film condition and rear defroster; send photos for a vehicle-specific quote.

What does the tint percentage mean?

The percentage is visible light transmission, or VLT. It describes how much visible light passes through the film. A lower percentage appears darker, but darkness alone does not tell you how much heat the film rejects.

What is the difference between high-performance and ceramic film?

Both are options from Global Window Films. Ceramic film is especially useful when you want strong heat rejection with a lighter appearance. We can compare current film choices and shades for your vehicle during your quote.

Is window tint legal in Missouri?

Tint rules depend on which glass is being covered and the vehicle. We review the applicable requirements and your desired shade before installation; the final choice must comply with current law.
