Custom PPF for a 2026 Ford Bronco Sport from Barnhart, MO

Can you protect the front of your SUV without choosing a full-front PPF package? Yes. This Barnhart, Missouri client brought a 2026 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks to STL Auto Defenders in Arnold for full-hood protection with wrapped edges, plus bumper and headlights. The custom package balanced coverage, appearance and budget.

What this custom Bronco Sport PPF package included

  • Full hood with wrapped edges
  • Painted front bumper areas
  • Headlights

Why choose the hood, bumper and headlights?

Paint protection film, also called PPF or clear bra, is a transparent film that adds a physical barrier against everyday road debris. On this Bronco Sport, we focused that protection on vulnerable front-facing surfaces while keeping the package within the client's budget.

The full hood received film from front to back, with wrapped edges for a clean finish. We also protected the painted bumper areas and headlight lenses. Together, those selections addressed the client's priorities without extending the installation to every front-end panel.

This was a custom selection, rather than our standard Full Front package. The front fenders and mirror caps were not part of this installation. We confirm the selected panels and film boundaries before beginning the work so each client knows exactly what is covered.

Why cover the entire hood and wrap the edges?

Partial-hood PPF leaves a film boundary across the top of the hood. Covering this Bronco Sport's entire hood avoids that partial-coverage line across the red paint. It is a useful option when you want to protect the whole panel and keep the appearance clean.

We wrapped the hood edges, carrying the film around the panel's perimeter so it blends into the vehicle. That finishing detail helps create the seamless appearance this client wanted.

Wrapped-edge options depend on the panel shape and access. The full hood on this Bronco Sport received that treatment; we discuss the boundaries on other panels when planning your own installation.

How does custom coverage keep PPF more affordable?

Custom coverage lets you decide where to invest first. Here, the client kept full-hood coverage and added the bumper and headlights, while leaving the front fenders and mirror caps out of the package.

That reduced the scope compared with a Full Front installation. The selected surfaces receive film protection, while the uncovered panels remain exposed. A smaller package works best when you understand those boundaries and choose them around your priorities.

For your vehicle, we can compare a custom package with our Partial Front and Full Front options. The vehicle, selected panels, installation complexity and condition of the finish determine the quote. We confirm the price for your exact coverage before installation.

Why consider PPF before winter driving?

Winter preparation is a useful time to decide which painted areas you want protected before adding more miles. For drivers around Barnhart, Imperial and Arnold, the conversation starts with how the vehicle is used: highway travel, backroads or a mix of both.

PPF helps reduce damage from ordinary road debris, but a hard impact can still damage the film or paint. Regular washing remains part of looking after the finish. Keep up with winter cleaning and follow the aftercare instructions supplied with your installation.
