What protection did this Tesla Model 3 receive?
This project combined Full Front + Track Pack paint protection film, full ceramic window tint and full ceramic coating. Kris Shuman completed the work at STL Auto Defenders in Arnold, Missouri.
The confirmed PPF areas are listed above. Coverage beyond the front end included the A-pillars, rocker panels, door lowers and rear splash areas. Those additional areas extend protection to surfaces exposed to road debris along the sides of the car.
Why protect a Tesla commuting from Festus on I-55 and I-270?
This client lives in Festus and drives I-55 to I-270 every day. Repeated highway exposure made the high-impact areas a priority: the front end, A-pillars, rockers, lower doors and rear splash areas.
PPF provides a physical barrier that helps protect the covered panels from rock chips and flying debris. The film can take wear that would otherwise reach the paint, although no film prevents every impact or type of damage.
The full hood, front fenders, full front bumper and headlights received clear film. Full-hood coverage protects the whole panel without a partial-hood film line.
The Track Pack additions extend the film beyond the nose. For your Tesla, we confirm each panel and coverage boundary in the quote so you know exactly what will be protected.
Nearly invisible protection. The difference is in the details.
The close-up video lets you inspect this Tesla’s PPF coverage and finished edges. Notice how the film blends into the paint. That nearly invisible finish is the goal: protection you benefit from without drawing attention to the film itself.
At STL Auto Defenders, we carefully position and align the film to the panel edges, wrapping them wherever possible. Clean preparation, controlled installation and careful finishing take time. Those details shape how the finished vehicle looks up close and how well the installation holds up over time.
Why the lowest PPF quote can cost you in the details
When it comes to PPF, you are paying for the installation as well as the film. A low quote deserves a close look at the finished work: exposed edges, trapped contamination and visible work marks can make the installation stand out for the wrong reasons.
Compare close-ups of completed edges and coverage, not just a vehicle photographed from across the parking lot. Ask how the installer handles alignment, wraps edges where possible and prepares the surface. The value of a careful installation shows in the finishing details and the longevity of the work.
This Tesla video is our invitation to look closer. See the work, compare the details and choose the installer you trust to protect your vehicle.
Our confidence comes with a lifetime warranty
We stand behind our PPF film and installations with a lifetime warranty for as long as you, the original owner, own the vehicle. Our name is on the work, and you know who installed it.
Ask us for the written warranty terms when planning your PPF project. We will explain the coverage and aftercare before installation.
Ceramic window tint for heat rejection and privacy
This Model 3 also received full ceramic window tint to reject heat and add privacy. Film selection and shade are separate decisions: tell us which windows you want covered and what matters most to you.
For your own appointment, we confirm the window list, film and shade before installation. This project’s photos are a record of the work, rather than a guide for selecting a tint percentage.
Ceramic coating for a cleaner car and easier washing
Full ceramic coating completed the protection plan. It creates a sacrificial layer over the paint and clear coat, helping protect the finish, keep the car cleaner for longer and make routine washing easier. The coating complements the physical film on the protected panels. Its slick surface also helps bug residue, tar and road paint release more easily during proper cleaning.
That sacrificial layer helps shield the finish from environmental contamination such as acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap and road fallout while making cleanup easier. Remove contaminants promptly using the recommended care methods to help avoid staining or etching.
Regular washing and correct care still matter. We discuss preparation, the selected coating and aftercare for each vehicle before confirming the work.
