How much does ceramic window tint cost in Arnold, MO?
Our ceramic starting prices are $199 for two front windows, $449 for a four-door sedan's side and rear windows, $499 for a crew cab or midsize SUV, and $549 for a full-size SUV. A full windshield is a $249 add-on; standalone windshield work is quoted separately.
Standard film starts at $149 for two fronts, $325 for sedan side-and-rear coverage, $349 for a crew cab or midsize SUV and $399 for a full-size SUV. Its windshield add-on starts at $200. An eyebrow or sun strip starts at $75. Vehicle size, specialty glass and removal can affect the confirmed quote. Compare equivalent windows and film types when comparing shops.
Is ceramic window tint worth the extra cost?
Ceramic tint can be worth the upgrade when reducing solar heat is a priority. Global ceramic films use non-metallic ceramic technology for heat control without relying only on a dark shade.
If you regularly commute, park outside or want a lighter appearance with useful heat rejection, ask us to compare the specific films. Standard tint remains an option for a lower initial budget. Exact performance depends on the selected product, shade and glass; an infrared-rejection figure is not the same measurement as total solar energy rejection.
Does darker tint always block more heat?
No. Visible darkness and heat rejection are different properties. Compare the specific film's solar-performance data as well as its visible light transmission, rather than choosing by shade alone.
A lower VLT number means less visible light passes through. That can change nighttime visibility, especially on unlit roads. Tell us about your night driving and visibility preferences so we can discuss a suitable combination.
Does factory privacy glass mean I do not need tint?
Factory privacy glass changes appearance, but it does not tell you everything about the glass's heat performance. Added ceramic film may be useful if you want more solar control; we assess the existing glass and your goals first.
Two-front-window tint can help coordinate the appearance of a truck or SUV. Matching the look is different from matching performance. We discuss both instead of assuming the darkest option is best.
Can I tint my windshield and front windows in Missouri?
Placement and the combined performance of glass and film matter. Before booking, review Missouri's current requirements with us; do not assume a film's shade label alone establishes compliance.
Missouri's front side-window rule generally specifies at least 35% light transmission, with a 3% tolerance, and also limits reflectance. Missouri generally prohibits aftermarket sun-screening material on the windshield outside the statute’s specific exceptions, including the permitted upper band. A light or ceramic film does not create an exception. The medical-permit provision applies to front side windows. The official statute and Missouri State Highway Patrol guidance are linked below; we confirm suitability before installation.
Should I remove my old tint before getting new tint?
Leave the old film in place and send photos first. We inspect the glass, film and rear defroster lines, use professional steam where appropriate, and remove remaining adhesive before replacement.
Peeling film yourself can leave adhesive and complicate cleanup. Old or damaged defroster lines need particular care, and their survival cannot be guaranteed. Professional window tint removal is quoted separately based on the windows, film condition and cleanup required.
How long before I can roll down freshly tinted windows?
Follow the instructions we provide at pickup. Installation time and adhesive curing are different: moisture can remain while film settles, and curing varies with film, weather and glass.
Keep roll-down windows closed for the advised period, avoid disturbing edges and use approved cleaning materials. If you see a concern, send a photo rather than picking at the film or trying to force trapped moisture out.
What should I send for a tint quote?
Send your year, make, model and ZIP code, the windows you want tinted, whether you want ceramic or standard film, and whether old tint needs removal. Photos help us assess unusual glass or deteriorating film.
For a Tesla Model Y or Model 3, include whether you want roof or windshield glass assessed. For a Silverado or F-150, specify cab style and whether you want only the front windows or more coverage. Our existing quote form lets you select tint alongside PPF and coating.
